I have been a boat owner for 42 years, with 30 boats ranging from 16 to 85 feet, and have owned and
operated all types, from runabouts, to express cruisers, sportfishermans, to commercial working boats. I
have had a marine repair business since 1990, and unlike many surveyors who may be seeing your particular
boat for the first time, I've been in the bowels of more types, years, and makes of boats than I can think of.
I am aware through years of owning boats, and working on them, which makes, models, and years have had
their particular problems, or defects. Therefore, I can tell you firsthand what to stay clear of, or what to
look out for in a given make, model, or year.
